Solid Rock BACK TO SCHOOL RALLY 2010

There were over 300 souls visiting Blaylock Park, Wiggins, Mississippi, August, Friday the 13th, 2010!!! The weather was great... the music was fantastic... and Christian Fellowship was enjoyed by All.

Mr. and Mrs Burton were there celebrating and praying with all of the great kids and their parents that came to listen to the Word in Musical Celebration and Christian Fellowship.

Nathan, was of course! In the middle of things!

Familiar faces from Stone County were seen all over...

The Light of God shined throughout the evening.

I will praise Thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will show forth all Thy marvellous works. I will be glad and rejoice in Thee; I will sing praise to Thy name, O Thou Most High.
Psalm 9: 1-2

Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is His reward.
Psalm 127:3

Unto Thee lift I up mine eyes, O Thou that dwellest in the heavens. Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that He have mercy upon us. Psalm 123:1-2

Walk Your Talk

God's kids.

These verses were on my Facebook page today. And they really hit me. Spoke to my heart, and my conscience, as I KNOW I have not been living the part! James 1:22-25

22 Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. Once again... James 1:22-25.

Fellowship at Solid Rock

This is my commandment. That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are My friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants, for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have made known unto you.

John 15:12-15

Treasures
by Ron Carnell
It's so hard to find the perfect breeze,
One blowing none to hard nor soft,
Carrying a scent of wildflowers,
And moving clouds about aloft.
It's so hard to find the perfect sky,
One blue and deep and bright,
Carrying a sense of openness,
With geese and wrens in flight.
It's so hard to find the perfect night,
One warm, quiet and unflawed,
Carrying a mood of solitude,
And a closeness to our God.
Yet no perfection's so hard to find
As that which you extend
And none I'll ever treasure more,
Than to simply be your friend.

Where no council is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.
Proverbs 11:14
Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Burton for being COUNSELORS.

MODERN MIRACLE in concert at Solid Rock

Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises. For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.
