Collide 228/601 Concert at Solid Rock!
A rainey day turned into a glorious celebration at Solid Rock Youth Center, Saturday evening, August 28th, 2010! The energetic Christian band COLLIDE from south Mississippi put on a grand performance for a large crowd of Stone County youth. 130 young people came to celebrate and worship the Lord. What a great place to be!
The Youth Center gathers larger crowds with each event. A testimony to the strength of God, His love for the Chosen who follow Him... and all those who come to be saved and worship Him at gatherings like Solid Rock Youth Center. And let's not forget the commitment of the leadership who founded and guide this fellowship. It takes a lot of work!!
Friends and Fun abound.
The only service a friend can really render is to keep up your courage by holding up to you a mirror in which you can see a noble image of yourself. G.B Shaw
A "shout out" from Nathan!
Thanks for all the work you do!

Friendship improves happiness, and abates misery, by doubling our joys, and dividing our grief.~Joseph Addison~

As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 1 Peter 4:10God Bless All who have built this great ministry.
One friend in a lifetime is much; two are many; three are hardly possible. Friendship needs a certain parallelism of life, a community of thought, a rivalry of aim. Henry Brooks Adams
Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in His sanctuary: praise Him in the firmament of His power. Praise Him for His mighty acts: praise Him accordingly to His excellent greatness. Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet: praise Him with the psaltery and the harp. Praise Him with the timbrel and dance: praise Him with the stringed instruments and organs. Praise Him upon the high sounding cymbals.
Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
Psalm 150: 1-6
All my love, Jesus Christ.

Walk Your Talk

God's kids.
These verses were on my Facebook page today. And they really hit me. Spoke to my heart, and my conscience, as I KNOW I have not been living the part! James 1:22-25
22 Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. Once again... James 1:22-25.
Come to Solid Rock Youth Center.

Fellowship at Solid Rock
This is my commandment. That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are My friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants, for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have made known unto you.

John 15:12-15

by Ron Carnell
It's so hard to find the perfect breeze,
One blowing none to hard nor soft,
Carrying a scent of wildflowers,
And moving clouds about aloft.
It's so hard to find the perfect sky,
One blue and deep and bright,
Carrying a sense of openness,
With geese and wrens in flight.
It's so hard to find the perfect night,
One warm, quiet and unflawed,
Carrying a mood of solitude,
And a closeness to our God.
Yet no perfection's so hard to find
As that which you extend
And none I'll ever treasure more,
Than to simply be your friend.
